Ah, I'm so glad I found this community. Not only do I love antiques, but I was curious about something....

Alright. I came to acquire this piece of jewelry on my 10th birthday (I am nearly 20 now so this was about 9-10 years ago) My elder sister told me she found it in an antique store. We think it's an anklet, but at the time it was too loose for me to wear, so we put it away.

I remembered I had it recently and was curious as to how old it might be and where exactly it came from. Obviously, by the sound it makes, it's probably used for dancing (Belly-dancing?). Does anyone have any clues? Thanks :)

Thanks :D I'm pretty sure it's brass.
